LS MASHIFANE INC. was established in 2019 by Mr. Lehlohonolo Mashifane. Mashifane is an Admitted Attorney who has been admitted since July 2015. His career in law, started in 2008 at the University of Johannesburg where he tutored business law to first year students. He gained his practical experience in law when he worked as an intern in the Legal Department of a JSE-listed ITC company where he was responsible for reviewing contracts; drafting legal opinions; drafting summons; drafting letters of demand and handling all the administrative issues pertaining insurance and insolvency claims. His experience in Commercial and Property law was earned while working as a Legal Administrator for a Legal Costs insurer where he was responsible for drafting lease agreements, letters of demand; acknowledgements of debts; summons, notices of motion and other legal processes; reviewing lease agreements and debt collections. Mashifane obtained experience in litigation and trial advocacy while working at Legal Aid South Africa where he served his articles from 2013 to 2015. It was during his tenure at Legal Aid that his incisive litigation skills were honed as he represented clients in criminal trials and bail applications. Mashifane also worked at 2 boutique law firms in Sandton and Houghton respectively where he gained experience in High Court Litigation, Labour Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, Insolvency, Public and Municipal law and Debt Collections.
